What you get#

• New orders, customers and products from your Zid store, delivered to Sfere as they happen through Zid webhooks.
• A pipe to your Sfere Data Warehouse, built for you when the store is connected.
• Managed functions that Sfere installs on that pipe to shape Zid’s data into Sfere events. They appear under Functions.

You do not add any code to your storefront for this. To also capture browsing behavior, such as product views and add-to-cart on the storefront, add the JavaScript SDK to the store theme as a separate website source.

Connect your store#

1. In the dashboard, open Sources > New source and choose An online store, then Zid.
2. Select Authorize with Zid. Zid opens in a new tab: sign in to your store and approve access for Sfere.
3. Return to the Sfere tab. The setup screen confirms the storefront connection and registers the webhooks that send new activity to Sfere.
4. Optional: select Import your existing records to pull past orders, customers and products. Records appear as they are imported.

When both steps show as complete, the panel reads Zid store connected.

Confirm it works#

Place a test order in your Zid store, then open Live events in the dashboard and select the Zid source. The order appears once Zid sends its webhook.

Reconnect or re-register#

If events stop arriving after you change the store’s apps or permissions in Zid, open the Zid source in Sfere and select Re-register to register the webhooks again, or authorize Sfere in Zid again.
